The CU-Boulder Planning Model is a cost estimating tool that creates a conceptual estimate of total project cost based on the assignable square footage of new construction or the gross square footage of renovated space.  The model, based on a similar model for the University of New Hampshire, takes into account the State of Colorado rules related to Capital Construction Funds-Exempt (CCFE), Cash Funds-Exempt (CFE), Cash Funds (CF) and Federal Funds (FF).
